Hula Classes

Classes are held in Kaneohe town on Windward Community College campus in HLC Kaniko'oko'o cottage building.  See maps for directions.

Halau yearly schedule is seperated into 2 Semesters (4 mos. ea.) and 2 breaks (2 mos. ea.).  

  • Makahiki Hou “New Year”:  January 15th - May 15th (4 months)

  • Makahiki Hapalua “Half Year”:  August 15th - December 15th (4 months)

  • Kumu reserve the right to adjust semester periods when necessary.

Skill Level:

Students are placed in the proper age & skill level class and may be advanced to the next class level base upon kumuÊ»s decision.

5:00 - 7:00 pm   Kahiko Class

Thursday

 

5:00 - 6:30 pm   Ê»Auana Class

Kumu may need to adjust class schedule and will notify students when necessary.
