February Halau Workshop

Awesome hula workshop for our halau on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Halau students gained a lot of new 'ike (knowledge) of lei making, halau genealogy, mo'olelo of our Hawaii monarch history plus learn a new auana dance to them entitled, Ka Mamakakaua which was taught to me by my 1st Kumu hula, Kumu Kawaikapuokalani Hewett. That song brings back so much memories growing up in the halau. So happy these students are making fond memories too.
