Hidden in Wahiawa on the North Shore side on the island of Oʻahu is a very sacred place to our Hawaiian people called, KUKANILOKO Birth Site. I had the honor to take some of my students from Hakipuu Learning Center and my halau alakaʻi, Kahealani. We shared our culture by offering gifts of our voices, dance and lei(s).

Kahealani did a wonderful job representing our halau.

More sharing by our students

We are so grateful for the priceless knowledge shared with us by Uncle Tom Lenchanko and others from the Hawaiian Civic Club of Wahiawa. We look forward to returning one day with the rest of our halau members. For more information on Kukaniloko Birth Site visit: www.kukaniloko.org
